Harlem Success Academy Charter School

This is the charter school Eva Moskowitz opened in 2006, and it lived up to its name:

New data show that 95 percent of the school’s students who took the 2010 state math test passed and 88 percent passed in reading — both tops among charter schools.

Instead of learning academic topics, students at public schools learn political activism. Back in June, the Transport Workers Union and United Federation of Teachers union encouraged students to protest having to pay for their subway passes. Here.
