Sorry Prez, we’re not buying. You continued the trend to take us backwards. Back to Soviet-style central planning. The recovery would have been faster without the regulations, the threat to unionize half the workforce, and the attacks on wealth creation, business and bankers. GM and Chrysler would have found other investors had the government not bailed them out. They would have been reorganized into entities that had a better chance of sustained economic growth. The Federal Government has issued so much debt we know we are going to get hit with higher taxes.
