Snowstorm in New York City

Here. The pubic sector was not up to the job of cleaning the streets and maintaining public transportation. Everybody is dealing with cuts in resources. People who work in the private sector learn how to do more with less; they innovate and invent new ways of doing things. The public sector, well, they just stop doing things.

Maybe, just maybe, government-loving New Yorkers learned a lesson from this snowfall.  I don’t have my hopes up, though.  The media bombard them with the scapegoating line that business or capitalism caused this financial mess, not interventionist government policies.
